day 106

day 106

this weekend has been very productive. so far i have completed 4 chapter of the blue print book (the first 4 were really easy) i'm going to dedicate one week to each chapter from here on in. the amount of material per chapter sudenly increased. at that rate i should complete the book by the time i get home.
also i looked into the stuff i wanna study on my own while in europe. i have decided to research wood carving.(although i will not beable to practice i will have a rather large knowledge of it)

i wanna prepare for my classes in spring so i'm also gonna look into middle east civilization, modern philosophers, and thomas aquinas.

i am honestly curious why the middle east in such term oil right now and would like to find out why. i plan to start my study with the middle east religions (as every thing seems to be based around religion there. then work my way down to history towards the end of december.

modern philosophers i plan to do a mock version of a plan i had before. for the past 2 years i had wanted to write my own overview of philosophy. using an outline style avoiding sentence and paragraph structure (using mostly bullets and numbers) i planed on having a over all time line with world events and the philosphers living dates ontop. then for every philosopher a smaller timelime thats more detailed then have a breif decription of there life, there major works (with short summaries) and there general philosophy. (of course i realized this entire plan was far to big for me to complete in college but if i only do afew select philosphers and don't go to crazy on it it should not be a huge problem)

thomas aquinas. in spring i plan to take a 300 level course with prof. Ray. profesor ray is notorious for trying to make his students look stupid in discussion. he also is a terable teacher i think he tries to mislead his students. i plan to know thomas aquinas inside and out before i get to his class so i can argue with him on an equal plane and follow his arguments entirly and correct him as much as possible . and also write papers that delve deeper into the subjects than he really wants me to go. (in short i want to crush him at his own game)

i am also learning moonlight sonata but you already know that.

and that is what i plan to study in austria.

the currrent italy plan goes as

dec 27 wake up early go to train station go to Venice arrive at Venice in evening and check in hostel explore some then sleep
dec 28 wake up early spend whole day in Venice sleep
dec 29 wake up early go to train station go to Cremona go to violin workshop check in hostel go sleep
dec 30 wake up early go to Florence check in hostel check on Vinci stuff see Florence go to sleep
dec 31 wake up early go to Vinci come back to Florence sleep in hostel
jan 1 wake up early go to Pompie explore ruins some check in hostel and go to sleep
jan 2 wake up early explore ruins then go to Rome check in hostel explore city go to sleep
jan 3 wake up early explore city all day go to sleep
jan 4 wake up early (either go to train station and go home) or (explore city and then go home at night)

9 days
8 nights

not sure about most of this but its the best plan i have for now. may not go to rome not much i wanna see there. and the pompie ruins maybe closed in winter. not sure if it snows in italy i still have to do more research
on the list of thing i wanna do the violin workshop, venice, and the da vici museum are the most important.

i think thats all for now....
